Singer/Songwriter Nabs Nomination for Best Gospel Song

Dec. 2, 2009—Sparrow Records singer/songwriter Matthew West garnered his first GRAMMY Award nomination tonight, announced during "The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music's Biggest Night," aired live on CBS from Club Nokia in Los Angeles. West received a nod in the category of Best Gospel Song for his long-running radio hit, “The Motions.”
